An economical but very lively 4-cylinder diesel engine provides propulsion and sufficient power on the milling chain. Therefore, even heavy clay soils or boggy terrain are hardly a challenge for this flexibly deployable machine. The excavated material is ejected to the desired side. A conveyor belt can also be used to dispose of this directly onto an accompanying vehicle, which you can rent together with the trencher.<\/p>\n

Time saving with one hopper<\/h2>\n

The optional hopper on the GM4 crawler saves time. In one step, the trench is milled and immediately filled with gravel. At the same time, the drainage pipe can be laid via a reel with pipe guide. This ensures the optimal position of the drainage in the channel and three operations are performed in one go. The sole scraper with plates and the dozer blade are also part of the complex scope of delivery.<\/p>\n

Special advantages of the GM4 with caterpillar drive<\/h2>\n

For better roadability, the undercarriage camber was designed to compensate for coarser ground unevenness. Compared to the wheel drive, the tracked version of the trencher brings significant advantages. This includes in particular the even weight distribution of the device. The 4,900 kilograms cause minimal damage with a chain, which is why the crawler is essential, for example, when used on sports facilities. Therefore, the trencher GM4 caterpillar is offered for rent with operator.<\/p>\n

The trencher GM4 caterpillar can be used on tracks on slopes without any problems. The vertical adjustment provides additional stability. The intelligent tilt device compensates for lateral slopes of up to 12\u00b0 with the aid of powerful hydraulics. The adjustable operator’s platform is advantageous for difficult operations. This can be moved to the left and far forward, giving the operator a direct view of the milling chain and the trench.<\/p>\n

As a crawler, the Trenchmaster GM 4 can cope with a wide variety of requirements. The flexible unit can be set to milling depths of 600, 800, 1250 and 1500 mm. Milling chains with knife-carbon bits or as a mixed chain are available. Milling widths from 70 to a maximum of 450 mm are possible.<\/p>\n

In its basic configuration, the GM4 is designed as an open ride-on unit. In this version, you can also rent these trenchers. The model is also available with either all-wheel drive or powerful track drive. Optionally, a driver’s cab can be mounted as weather protection. This is always equipped with a particularly comfortable driver’s seat. If the mobile milling machine is purchased for year-round use, it is recommended to install the heater.
